Attention May and August 2014 Degree Candidates ~ BSU requires all degree candidates to file a degree application with the appropriate office. The formal graduation review process begins with this step. May degree applications are for those students who will complete all degree requirements by May. August degree applications are for those students who will complete all degree requirements by August. All students who intend to complete their degree requirements by May or August must apply as follows: Undergraduate students: You must complete a degree application with the Registrar's Office, Boyden Hall, room 003. At the time you apply to for degree completion, your degree audit should show that all requirements are "met". Graduate students: You must complete a degree application with the College of Graduate Studies, Maxwell Library, room 019. At the time you apply for degree completion, your degree audit should show that all requirements are "met". For detailed information regarding the May Commencement ceremonies, please go to the Graduation Central website: http://services.bridgew.edu/GraduationCentral NOTE: The May 2014 degree application deadline is long past due; and the recommended deadline for August degree completers is April 15th. If you wish to receive your degree in May or August, you must apply as soon as possible! For those who wish to attend May Commencement, you may not receive tickets for Commencement unless you have applied for degree completion with the appropriate office and received preliminary approval from your academic department. August 2014 completers who wish to attend May Commencement must be fully approved by Mary Ellis by April 15th. Please also be aware that students who are not fully approved by late April may not be listed in the Commencement program. Only students who apply before May Commencement may receive a May 2014 diploma. For Students Who Plan to Complete Their Degree at the end of the Fall 2014 Semester~ December 2014 degree candidates may apply for degree completion starting April 28th, after they pre-register for final courses; and their degree audit shows that all requirements will be met. Graduate students who intend to complete their degree requirements by December 2014 must apply for degree completion in the College of Graduate Studies.
