Fall Registration

All undergraduate degree-seeking students must be advised prior to enrolling in Fall courses, and advising clearance must be obtained. Fall courses will be available for viewing via InfoBear at Available Course Sections by April 3rd. Advising starts the week of April 6th.

Fall Preregistration for continuing degree-seeking students begins Friday, April 17th starting with graduate students. Senior Preregistration for continuing students begins Tuesday, April 21st; followed by Juniors on April 22nd, Sophomores on April 23rd, and Freshmen on April 24th. Please see the registration schedule for additional details via the myBSU student portal by clicking on the Registrar's Office icon.

REMINDER: An undergraduate student's class standing (i.e., senior, junior, sophomore, freshman) is viewable at the top of the degree audit, and also via the Web under Student Records/Student Information. This is determined by total credits earned, as shown on the bottom of the academic transcript or most recent grade report. Since currently enrolled credits are NOT included in this calculation, the Used Credits field from the degree audit does not determine class standing.

Registration Hours Starting April 17th:

Non-Degree students may begin registering for Fall courses as follows:

Non-Degree Graduate-Level Students (Courses at All Locations): Monday, April 27

Non-Degree Undergraduate-Level Students (Main Campus Courses): Friday, August 28

New First-Year and Transfer Students will follow a separate Orientation and Registration schedule. Information will be sent directly to students regarding this process.
